Hi there! I'm Ren. I'm a writer and narrative designer with 6+ years of experience in video games, including multi-platform and live service titles -- from concept to ship, original IP to established IP.
I am currently a Writer & Narrative Designer at Wicked Saints Studios on our flagship blended-reality story game, World Reborn.
Previously, I was a Narrative Designer on Singularity 6's live-service fantasy MMO Palia, where I championed the narrative vision for in-game events, including the beloved Luna New Year Maji Market (featured on Polygon and IGN).
My work is also featured in: Netmarble's mobile interactive story game BTS Universe Story, the adorable creature-collecting RPG Ova Magica, comics, visual novels, and more.
Crafting genre-defining stories is my passion, whether it's by designing intricate quests, writing snappy dialogue, wrangling data assets in engine, or creating characters with depth and heart.
With a background in computer science, and an endless love for storytelling and design, I’m always looking for the next great story to bring to life!

ABOUT ME
While studying Computer Science at the University of La Verne, I jumpstarted my career in games freelancing as a writer and editor.
After receiving my B.S. in software, I joined Netmarble and HYBE on their BTS mobile game.
Since then, I've worked MMOs, RPGs, interactive story games, visual novels, web comics, voiceovers, and even behavioral AI robots…one that was recently featured in a movie trailer.
When I’m not creating, I’m watching horror movies, travelling, raising animals, and living my best Yelp Elite foodie life!
